Abraham Akampurira – Head Teacher (17th June 2019 to Present)
Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ friends, old students, and all well-wishers of Kigezi High School.
Praise be to God who has used old students, to re-activate and upgrade this platform; that is going to open up the school to all her stakeholders, both within and the entire world.
The main interest in this website is to mobilize and coordinate all the alumni of this great historical school for the sole purpose of achieving its cardinal values related to its Vision and Mission.
Kigezi High school was established as a primary school in 1922 by the missionaries. It became a Junior Secondary School in 1946 and a Senior Secondary School in 1965.
It has a strong Christian tradition which it has maintained over years. It’s a comprehensive school with very wide subject coverage, a committed staff and reasonable number of resources.
The school has a vision of being a leading school in Uganda with a mission to provide high quality education which will equip the students to be innovative, responsible and successful in their service to God and mankind.
The school motto is ‘I SERVE’.
The school’s development plan has been prepared and it spells out the school’s vision and mission and the detailed plans.
The ongoing school’s planned developments include the following:
However, due to government ban on increase on fees, quite a number of the above will not be done, and therefore, a need to solicit external financial support by way of fundraising or grants or donations, etc.
My humble appeal for support can be directed to the following school Bank Accounts:
KIGEZI HIGH SCHOOL

I wish Kigezi High School, under God, every blessing and pledge my continued royalty and support in the years ahead.
I SERVE.
