The Saturday of 19th will see a multitude of Kigezi High School (KHS) Old Students gather at Kavumba Recreation Centre in Wakiso district to celebrate their academic roots.
The event, based on the theme, ‘Reconnecting to root for 2022 (KHS at 100)’ will see the old students participate in a wide range of team building activities; especially sports.
According to Paul Kanoti, one of the lead organisers of the re-union, the members who lived in the school’s 14 dormitories will be split into two teams that will compete against each other in games like football for both boys and girls, swimming, sack racing and track races; among several more sporting activities.
Among the key issues to be discussed will be early strategic plans in preparation for the school’s centenary celebrations in 2022.
